Chris Conway

Chris is a film and video graduate from the University of Glamorgan. After leaving university he has set up multiple production ventures including 21 Grams, a production company that specialises in promotional material and Secret OSunds; an online music based programme. He is currently working as a 10-17 Triage case manager, using restorative practices to divert young people from the Criminal Justice System.

Erin Symons

Erin's role at the MAC is a 10-17 Triage case manager. She previously worked in Michaelston Community College and St David's Catholic College as an instructor delivering the Welsh Baccalaureate. Erin has been a youth worker for over 20 years within communities all over Cardiff and has met fascinating people!

Rachel Woods

Rachel's role at MAC is working within the 10-17 Triage team as a case manager. She started as a student placement with the Triage team in 2014 and has now finished her Post Graduate Diploma in Youth and Community Work at Cardiff Met. Rachel previously undertook a Sport and Physical Education degree and alongside this job she also coaches for a junior basketball academy.

Kevin Horton

Kevin started working with MAC in November 2015 as a Restorative Case Manager. He now works as an 1825 Triage Case worker in Cardiff. Kevin's work life before MAC is quite diverse. He worked as a doorman for over 7 years in Cardiff and Newport. He spent 8 years as a crane driver in Cardiff steelworks whilst volunteering as a youth worker with Cardiff Council. Kevin played rugby for Glamorgan Wanderers for many years before breaking his collar bone. For 18 months, Kevin also worked as a transitional support worker/secure escort.

Amanda Bevan

Amanda is an 18-25 Triage case manager. Previously she was a volunteer for the youth offending service for 5 years. She qualified in 2009 as a youth worker. She has recently qualified as a personal fitness instructor which she hopes to be using with the young people she works with.

Ashleigh Lawson

Ashleigh has a degree in Psychology, and has recently finished a Masters in Forensic Psychology.  She worked with the Youth Offending Service for four years before joining us January 2016 as an 18-25 Triage case manager for Swansea.  Ashleigh has been travelling around Asia, Australia and India, and her two dogs are practically her children.

Leanne Martin

Leanne is one of MAC's 1825 Triage managers for Bridgend. She graduated from Plymouth University with a BSc in Criminal Justice Studies with Social Justice and Human Rights. Since then, Leanne has worked with substance users of all ages within secure settings and the community, helping with all aspects of their lives. Leanne has also spent some time working on a 24hr advocacy helpline.

Laura Burdett

Laura is an 1825 Triage case manager based in Swansea Police station. Laura has previously worked for a charity in Swansea as a mental health support worker and has lots of experience working within the mental health system. Laura has a degree in Health and social care and wants to make a difference to young people's lives and reduce stigma relating to mental health.
