Dan Cooke

Dan is the Engagement and Into Work Coordinator for the Music Potential Programme. Before working at MAC he has supported young people in alternative education settings, PRUs, Youth clubs and as a detached youth worker. Dan has also supported parents in Cardiff to find sustainable employment. Dan has got a degree in Youth and Community Education and a Masters in Managing Community Practice. He is also awaiting the arrival of his first child on the 12th of May!

Favourite album? The Very Best of The Jam

What city were born in? Dorchester

An interesting fact? I love surfing all year round! 

Dream holiday destination? Costa Rica or West coast USA and Canada.

What animal would I be? A horse (because of the way I run/gallop)

 

Chelsey Gillard

Chelsey is one of our Art Tutors. Chelsey is a freelance director, working mainly in contemporary plays. She is an associate director at The Other Room in Cardiff where her production of Constellation Street recently won three awards at the Wales Theatre Awards. Chelsea also teaches drama at all levels, from primary to degree.

Favourite album? Complete Madness- Madness

City you were born in? Bridgend

An interesting fact? I began training to be a doctor - but i just couldn't give up the theatre.

 Dream holiday destination? Peru - I want to climb Machu Picchu

What animal would I be? Hippopotamus


Rachel Phillips

Rachel is one of our Art Tutors. Rachel is an arts practitioner who focuses on working with young people in South Wales. She moved to Cardiff in 2011 to study Double Bass whilst producing and musically-directing theatre during her degree. Now Rachel spends most of her time listening to and creating music and drama with an assortment of adults, children, young people, and cats. In Rachel's spare time she likes to cook, cycle and go to the theatre.

What city were you born in? London

An interesting fact? I know every single word to ' Are You Ready For Love' and i'm not really sure why.
