The team have been shortlisted for their outstanding contribution to the health and wellbeing of young people who are in the criminal justice system. Nick Corrigan, Director of MAC said, "The whole team at MAC feel very proud of the work of Triage, ensuring the health and wellbeing needs of some of the most vulnerable children and young people in society are responded to". The team work tirelessly with partners and young people 7 days a week to ensure emotional and physical needs are identified and met. The significant reduction in offending and the reduction in wider harm shows that the vital work supporting health and wellbeing supports young people to make better decisions relating to their future.

Mark Bishop Assistant Manager of the Vale of Glamorgan Youth Offending Service says, "The Triage team ensure that any needs are quickly identified and the appropriate support packages created with the Young Person and their families at the centre of the plan. I am delighted that this nomination from the Welsh Government shows that the ground breaking work that Triage undertake has been recognised as an area of excellent practice across Wales".
