Joseph Lloyd
Joseph is a degree qualified Youth and Community Worker. He has worked with the 1017 Triage and set up and coordinated 1825 Triage. Both Triage projects aim to divert young offenders away from the criminal justice system. Joseph has also worked as a victim worker giving victims the opportunity to have harm repaired and hold wrongdoers accountable for their actions. Joseph has also managed adult offenders in the community and custodial settings whilst gaining a VQ3 qualification in Probation Practices. Joseph is now lead on a new restorative partnership project offering restorative justice to victims of crime in the Cardiff, Vale, and Bridgend areas of South Wales.

Kevin Horton
Kevin has been working with MAC since November 2015 as a Restorative case manager. He works alongside Joseph with victims and wrongdoers repairing harm and delivering restorative justice. Kevin's work life before MAC is quite diverse. He worked as a doorman for over 7 years in Cardiff and Newport. He spent 8 years as a crane driver in Cardiff steelworks whist volunteering as a youth worker for Cardiff Council. Kevin played rugby for Glamorgan Wanderers for many years before breaking his collar bone. For the last 18 months he worked as a transitional support worker/secure escort.

Melanie Weaver
Melanie is the 1825 Victim Liaison worker within Media Academy Cardiff since May 2016.
Prior to working with MAC, she worked with British Telecom as an operator, moving onto to working as a control room operator with Gloucester Police as a civilian.
Her last employee was with South Wales Police as a Police Constable. For the last years of her employment she was seconded to the Vale Youth Offending Service where she worked closely within all areas of the service and was the lead of the out of court disposals process.
